Edwin Thadeane Czubakowski, 92, of Denton, died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.

Mr. Czubakowski was born on December 26, 1926 in Thorp, WI to Steven and Josephine Sluginski Czubakowski. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Ed was married to Dolores Donald on May 21, 1954 in Chicago, IL.

Ed is survived by his wife, Dolores Czubakowski of Denton; daughters, Jody Cook of Midwest City, OK, Rebecca Czubakowski of Denton, Sue Story and her husband Norwood of Plano, Sandi Schon and her husband Don of Aubrey; son, Timothy Czubakowski and his wife Angela of Bethel, CT; grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel and his wife Carissa, Matthew, Michael, Zachary, Madison, Taylor.

He will always be remembered as loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, February 11, 2019 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. A private burial will be held later for the family at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the American Heart Association.
