Edward Steven Fitzgerald, 65, of Ponder, died Monday, November 26, 2018 at his home in Ponder.

Mr. Fitzgerald was born on September 18, 1953 in Long Beach, CA to Edward Houston and Evelyn Winona (Moss) Fitzgerald. He was married to Cathy Armeada Hamilton in Gainesville in February of 1999. He was graphic designer for Chevron and worked as a supervisor at the Denton State School.

Edward is survived by his wife, Cathy Fitzgerald of Ponder; son, Steven Fitzgerald and his wife Candy Fitzgerald of Lewisville; grandchildren, Faith, Sierra, Seth, Steven; three great-grandchildren, Alice, John, Lydia; sisters, Vickie Henry of Flower Mound, Kathy Pederson of Highland Village; sister-in-law, Barbie Baker of Gainesville; brothers-in-law, Butch Hamilton of Oklahoma, Paul Hamilton of Denton, David Hamilton of Sherman.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton.
