Edward Joseph Berryman, 72, of Ponder passed away February 12, 2013 at his home. Edward was born April 30, 1940 in Denver, CO to Edward and Mary Joe (Wood) Berryman. He was a school teacher in Colorado and later retired from the City of Denton. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward F. Berryman. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Berryman of Ponder; his mother, Mary Joe Berryman of Denton; daughter, Candice Carmichel and her husband Chris of North Carolina; sons, Randy Berryman and wife Dana of Corona, CA, Chris Berryman of Arizona, Curt Berryman of Germany; step daughter, Stacy Schertz and husband Kris of Anna; step son, Rodney Brown and wife Tonya of Lubbock; nine grandchildren, Sara, Anthony, Nickolas, Samantha, Colton, Madison, Taylor, Simon Tobias; five step grandchildren, Landon, Lydia, Logan, Rhett, Cole.
A memorial service will be planned for a date in the future.
