Obituary

Edna Earl Hallman Branch, age 86, of Denton, died Saturday November 4, 2006 at her home in Denton. She was born in Sevier County, Arkansas to Charles B. and Annie (Harwell) Hallman, February 24, 1920, the 6th daughter. All of her immediate family have predeceased her. Edna Earl was very proud to have graduated from Nashville, AR High School in 1938 and married George T. Branch that same year. They had two daughters, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. They were married 59 years, when Mr. Branch passed away in 1997. Their younger daughter, Janice K. Pope passed away in 1992.

Mrs. Branch was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, particularly the Rose Hill Congregation in Texarkana.

Leaving behind to grieve her passing are her daughter, Linda Spigner, and her three sons and families, Thom, Tim, and Toby as well as two granddaughters, Jennifer Bland and Laura Stull. Edna Earl Branch was a special aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and a dear friend to many. Also, surviving her are her Church family.

No services are planned, burial will be at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 6, 2006. In her memory any contributions may be made to the Boles Home in Quinlin, TX, or a charity of choice. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday November 5 at the funeral home.
