Obituary

Edith Elsie Nugent, 76 of Denton passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Atrium in Corinth, TX She was born March 6, 1936 in Cartwright, KY to Arvil F. and Ethyl Mae (Brown) Booher. She is a graduate of Pilot Point High School, and a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was married to J. L. Nugent, Jr. on March 15, 1952 in Denton, TX and he passed away on March 16, 2008. She worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Texas Instruments.

Mrs. Nugent is survived by her daughter, Debra Lynn Howard of Denton, Life mate and companion Harold Morris of Denton Sisters, Ina Cundiff of Collinsville, Linda Simpson of Decatur, Carolyn McClain of Gunter, Brothers, Floyd Smith of Garland, Eddie Smith of Krum, and Terry Smith of Sunset, and four Grandchildren, Amber Schnepp, Stacey Stevens, Heather Poe, and Adam Schnepp, and six Great Grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother Tommy Smith, and parents.

The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St. Denton, TX on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. . A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday November 20 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, with Rev. Dickie Amyx, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilot Point Community Cemetery/
