Edith Milcena Lucchino Erwin age 75 of Denton formerly of Era went to be with her lord Saturday January 15, 2011. She was born October 22, 1935 in Omaha, Nebraska to Joseph and Elsie (Griffith) Lucchino. She married John W. Erwin on August 11, 1953 in New Bern, North Carolina. She worked in Accounting at Russell- Newman before retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Era where she taught Sunday school for many years. After their move to Denton Edith and John have been attending Southmont Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband John of Denton. Daughters Pamela Robertson of Flower Mound and Rhonda Payeur of Gainesville. Sons John Erwin of Era and Mark Erwin of Plugerville. Two half sisters Phyllis Leonardo and Mary Lalley. Half brother Leonard Lucchino. Nine grandchildren and 2 great grand children.
Funeral Services will be 1 pm Monday January 17, 2011 at Southmont Baptist Church. No visitation is scheduled . Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. Harold Bowles will be officiating the service.
