Obituary
Edgar Fred Geesling, 74, of Denton, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Fred was born on January 14, 1938 in Denton to Edgar Earl and Myrtle Elizabeth (Brearley) Geesling. He served as a medic in the United States Army and was a member of Cooper Creek Baptist Church all of his life. He retired from Victor Equipment Company.
Fred is survived by his sisters, Lynell Cawood of San Antonio, Nancy Bowles of Era, Betty Hilton of Denton; several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 30, 2012 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Cooper Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ben Smith, Floyd Meeker, Jim Compton, Pat McDonald, Doug Prewitt, Bill Rainey.
