E.C. Hilliard born May 16, 1944 has passed away on March 18, 2020. E.C. was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Gus Hilliard and Lillie Blackwood. E.C. married Alice Odom in May 29, 1965 and was married for 55 years.

E.C. owned his own business for many years as a mechanic. He also worked at the city of Denton and UNT. He also served in the National Guard. E.C. was known as a very honest and outgoing individual. He never met a stranger and would give them the shirt off his back. He was loved by his family and everybody he met.

He is survived by his wife Alice Hilliard of Decatur, two children Eddie Hilliard of Decatur Texas, Kim Thomas and husband Steve Thomas of Cross Roads Texas. Two grandsons; Colton Thomas of Cross Roads, Texas and Adam Thomas from Augusta, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents Gus Hilliard 1982 and Lillie Hilliard 2018.
