Earl E Schafer, 87, of Aubrey, TX died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Schafer was born on August 31, 1933 in Blanchard OK to Raymond Warren and Mable Olive (Rutherford) Schafer. He was married to Virginia Ida Blake on May 29, 1955 in Cortez, CO.  He retired from American Airlines in 1993.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Schafer of Aubrey; four daughters: Deanna L Martin of Aubrey; Sherry E Taylor of Idaho; Kaye E Gunlock of Hickory Creek; Lisa F Adams of Sunset; as well as 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Family Visitation will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 1-2 pm, with the Memorial service following at 2:00 pm. at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home at 705 N Locust, Denton TX.
