Earl Edward Jolly, 82, of Sanger, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 surrounded by his family at home.
Mr. Jolly was born on April 17, 1933 in Dallas to Robert F. and Hattie J. (Fisher) Jolly. He was married to Joann Louise Clibbens on October 22, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA. He served in the United States Army during Korea. He was a master plumber and a master electrician; he retired from the Lewisville ISD and had previously worked for Texas Instruments and American Airlines.
Mr. Jolly is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joann Jolly of Sanger; sons, Robert Jolly and his wife Charlotte of Sanger, David Jolly and his wife Diane of Denton, Daniel Jolly and his wife Joan of Krum; daughter, Suzann Cowan and her husband Mike of Sanger; daughter-in-law, Patricia Jolly of Krum; seven grandchildren, Jessica Murdock, Clay Jolly, Emily Jolly, Christopher Cowan, Elizabeth Jolly, Jared Cowan, Russell Jolly; four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Jolly and seven sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. A private service for family and close friends will be held later at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Thursday, April 14, at 10am.
