Doug E. Cooper, 48, of Corinth, died Friday, October 8, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at their home in Corinth.
Doug was born on January 10, 1962 in Springfield, MO to Roger and Vicki Cooper. He graduated with a Masters degree in Trombone performance from Central Missouri State University. He was married on July 27, 1985 in Kansas City, MO. He had been a minister of music for 22 years and was a member of the Singing Men of Texas and Cooper Creek Baptist Church in Denton.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 15, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday October 16, 2010 at Lake Shore Baptist Church, 276 E. Hundley Dr., Lake Dallas, TX.
Doug is waiting in Glory for his wife of 25 years, Kelly Cooper of Corinth; daughter, Sarah and husband Justin of Denton; parents, Roger and Vicki Cooper of Springfield, MO; sisters, Debbie and husband Tim of Rogersville, MO, Denise and husband Jim of O'Fallen, MO, Davie and husband Sean of San Francisco, CA, and many nieces and nephews.
