Dorotha A. "Dot" Sampson, age 88, of Flower Mound, Texas, and former resident of Oskaloosa, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2008, in Lewisville, Texas.

Dot was born October 11, 1919 in Mahaska County, Iowa to Ross N. Todd, Sr. and Hazel Archer Todd. She married Theodore "Ted" Sampson on November 1, 1941 in Lancaster, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2006. Dot was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Lewisville and a former member of Oskaloosa Gospel Tabernacle.

She is survived by her son, Lewis Sampson and wife, Suzanne of Elgin, Illinois; daughter, Lois Huberty and husband, Terry of Flower Mound; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Dot is also survived by two brothers, Bill Todd of Indianola, Iowa and Gerald Todd of W. Las Vegas, Nevada.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2008, at Liberty Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. Reverend Dick Webster will officiate the service.
