Dorothy Mae Wedel Tieszen Linn age 89 of  Denton passed away Tuesday November 3, 2009 at the Atrium Medical Center in Corinth, Texas. She was born February 25, 1920 in Moundridge , McPherson County, Kansas to Joseph J. and Lena (Stucky) Wedel. She graduated from Moundridge High School in 1937. She was a member of the Eden Mennonite Church and the Congregational Church in McPherson, Kansas. She married Charles Tieszen December 9, 1941 in Newton, Kansas. She married Clinton K. Linn May 5, 1963 in McPherson, Kansas. She was a Salesperson and Homemaker.

She is survived by her three sons; Bob C. Tieszen of Sanger, Texas, James D. Tieszen and Dwayne A. Tieszen both of Denton, Texas, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister Velma Guhr and brother Harvey Wedel.

The family will be at Mulkey-Mason Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home 705 N. Locust, Denton 76201 for visitation Friday 6, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Monday November 9, 2009 at the Petersen Funeral home 215 North Main Newton, Kansas 67114.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Newton Kansas. Visitation will be 1 to5 pm Sunday November 8, 2009 at the Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas.
