Dorothy Mae Ray, 73, of Carrollton, died at her home, she was born June 20, 1933 in Krum, TX to Walter Oscar and Mary Elizabeth (Rickrich) Hudgins. She attended the Krum Public Schools and the University of North Texas, where she received her Master's Degree. She is a member of the First Baptist Church, of Carrollton, and was retired from Gifford-Hill Contractor's (Beazer Corp.) as an Executive Secretary.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 11, 2006 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Buddy Owens, officiating. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery west of Krum. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Monday. Pallbearers will be Kevin Hagemann, Matthew Hagemann, Keith Hudgins, Kenneth Hudgins, Casey Hunt, and Terry Hun t. .

Mrs. Ray is survived by a Brother Bill Hudgins, of Denton, and a sister Patsy Hagemann, of Denton, several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
