Dorothy Nixon, 76, of Denton, died March 2, 2006 at Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Mrs. Nixon was born March 18, 1929 in Grosse Pointe, MI to Maxwell and Lillian (Wilson) VandeGreyn. She was married to John Nixon on November 25, 1950 in Detroit, MI (he died on February 29, 2004). She was an administrative assistant and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Dallas Chapter, 7610 N. Stemmons Fwy., Ste. 600, Dallas, TX 75247-9952.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynne Guynes and husband David Guynes of Denton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Wilson.
