Dorothy Nell Hatridge, 75, of Gainesville, died Tuesday October 23, 2007 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.

Mrs. Hatridge was born January 28, 1932 in Sanger to Benjamin Spencer and Flora Bell Hicks. She was married to George Edgar Hatridge in Denton on March 23, 1946 (he died on May 11. 1982). She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sanger. She worked for many years at local banks including First City Bank, Lewisville State Bank, Security Bank and Denton Area Teachers Credit Union.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Mary Nell Mitchell of Denton; sons, George Ray Hatridge of Denton, Ricky Gene Hatridge of Denton; sisters, Minnie Bell McAfee of Sanger, Helen Jemison of San Antonio, Linda Kay Masten of Sanger; brother, Charles Spencer Hicks of Muenster, John Edward Hicks of Sherman; grandchildren, Michael Dale Mitchell of Denton, Jerry Dale Mitchell, Jr. of Denton, Sherry Ann Bentley of Fort Worth; great grandchildren, Michael Dale Mitchell, Jr. and Blake Mitchell of Lake Dalllas, Lauren and Page Mitchell of Denton, Kaelyn Shae Bentley and Kelden Bentley of Fort Worth. Dorothy is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well. Dorothy was preceded in death by a sister, Benny Ruth Monschke and brother, George Douglas Judkins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday October 27, 2007 at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday October 26 at the funeral home.
