Dorothy Jean Bothwell, 77 of Denton passed away on Saturday, October 9,2010. She was a graduate of Denton High School and had worked as a Proof Reader for Moore"s Business Forms and as a Dispatcher for Texas Woman's University. She was a member of the Gateway United Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. On Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Gateway United Baptist Church, 2401 N. Bell Ave. Denton with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Belew Cemeteryat Aubrey, TX The family will have a visitationo on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the church from 6 P.M. Until 8 P.M. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bothwell is survived by a daughter Joy Stanford of Denton, a son Billy Wayne Bothwell of Denton. Her mother Lillie Belle Owens of Aubrey, three sisters, Shirley Barrett of Chandler, AZ Patricia Ann Creglow of Aubrey, Linda Hammett of Aubrey, Brothers, Charles C. Owens of Aubrey, Gary Klee Owens of Denton, Ronald Wayne Owens of Aubrey, Joe Taylor Owens of Aubrey, Roger Dale Owens of Green Valley, and Michael Ray Owens of Denton. Two Grandchildren Tracey Wayne Gibson of Denton, Jennifer Dawn Bothwell Button of Red Oak, TX and four Great Granchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chrystopher Owens, Steven Owens, Chris Owens, Danny Owens, and Josh Owens.
