Dorothy Kovarsky Bornstein, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of West Hartford and Old Saybrook, CT, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2007 at her home. She was born on Nov. 21, 1915 in Hartford, CT. to Joseph and Lizzie Yuel Kovarsky. She was the beloved wife of Isadore "Izzy" Bornstein for 65 years, who preceded her in death eleven days ago.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Bornstein and husband John Grove of Milwaukee, WI; son, Joseph Bornstein and wife Caren of Highland Village, TX; three grandchildren, Matthew Bornstein-Grove of Tacoma, WA and Carleigh and Harrison Bornstein both of Highland Village, TX; nephew, Richard Cohen and wife Karen of Avon, CT; and brother-in-law, Bill Cohen of Farmington, CT. Dorothy was predeceased by her three sisters, Freda K. Lappen, Jeanette Kovarsky and Sally K. Cohen. Services were held March 11, 2007 at Congregation Kol Ami in Flower Mound, TX. Burial followed at Flower Mound Cemetery.
