Doris Lee Sims, 81, of Aubrey, TX, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2014 in Denton, TX. Doris was born in Dallas, TX on April 23, 1933 the daughter of William Hunter Tedder and Bessie Lee Harmon Tedder. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Boyd Sims Sr. (May 5, 2007). Doris is survived by three daughters, Sharon Suits and husband Robert of Garland, TX; Karen Sasser of Aubrey; Charlotte Sims and husband Stanley of Denton; Two sons, Charles "Chuck" Sims Jr. and wife Carroll of Lewisville,TX; Stephen Sims and wife Pamela of Desoto, TX; And one sister, Donna Tedder McGrath of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Doris is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday September 10, 2014 at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX. with a visitation on Tuesday evening from 5-7 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home.
