Obituary
Doris Pannell-Magee, 67, of Aubrey, died Tuesday March 9, 2010 at The Atrium in Corinth.
Doris was born on May 31, 1942 in McKinney, TX to LaRue "Bud" and Warrene (Edwards) Ludwig. She was retired after more than thirty years at the University of North Texas in the Office of Fiscal Affairs. She was a member of the Southmont Baptist Church. She was married to Doyle Magee in Denton, TX.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday March 11 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday March 12, 2010 at Southmont Baptist Church, 2801 Pennsylvania, Denton, TX. Rev. Larry Reynolds and Rev. Bruce Troy will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle Magee of Aubrey; daughter, Sherry Goin Ludwig of Denton; son, Bret Pannell of Crossroads; brother, Jerry Ludwig of Denton; grandson, Jacob Tyler Pannell of Crossroads; also survived by Doyle's daughters, Dawn Magee Green, Pamela Tarbox and her husband Bret; grandson, Michael Alan Tarbox and granddaughter, Sarah McKenzie Tarbox.
Doris wished that instead of sending flowers, that you give to the homeless, destitute and hungry.
