Doris Ann Lynch Wallace, 76, of Aubrey, after a short illness went to be with her Lord on February 6, 2009 at the home of her daughter, with whom she had been living. She was born October 7, 1932 in Denton County to Everett and Willie Mae (Russell) Lynch. She was a graduate of Denton High School. She attended the Gateway United Baptist Church of Denton and the North Side Baptist Church in Carrollton.
A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, February 9, 2009 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Mark Dallalio and Rev. Buddy Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Valley Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M. on Sunday, February 8, 2009.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by her daughter, Latonia Akins of Carrollton; a son and daughter-in-law, Walter Lee Fancher, Jr. and Shirley of Carrollton; a sister, Evelyn Rodgers of Denton; brothers, Bill Lynch and Ray Lynch of Aubrey; granddaughter, Bridget; grandsons, Brian, Walt, Richard, Donnie, Greg, and Aaron; and nine great-grandchildren. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Ida Mae Wallace, and two brothers, Fred Lynch and Dwane Lynch.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Cross, Brett Rodgers, Randal Rodgers, Freddie Lynch, Brian Darden, Merwyn Lynch.
