Doris Lamarre, age 61, of The Colony, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, October 9, 2006 after her courageous battle with cancer.

She was born November 1, 1944 in Fall River, Massachusetts to Joseph R. and Eva P. Demers Rocheleau. Doris married Raymond G. Lamarre on March 14, 1970 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in The Colony and also had been active at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewisville.

Doris is survived by her husband, Deacon Ray Lamarre of The Colony; daughter, Beth Ann Wagstaff and husband, Art of The Colony and brother, Robert J. Rocheleau and wife, Chris of Cumberland, Rhode Island.

A memorial mass will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2006, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to service. In Lieu of flowers the family request soft stuffed animals donated to any children's hospital or any children's ward in any hospital.
