Doris Wylene Mann Cantrell, 83, of Denton, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born July 18, 1930 in Aubrey, TX to Wiley Marshall and Nellie Lenora (Wilson) Mann. She is a graduate of Denton High School and a member of the Hope Community Church of the Nazarene (First Church of the Nazerene). She is a retired bookkeeper for Russell's and Denton Electric.
Mrs. Cantrell is survived by her son, Stephen Cantrell of Denton; sister, Mary Speegle of Lewisville; brother, Marshall Mann of Panama City Beach, FL; grand- children, Stephen Marshall Cantrell of Pilot Point, Jenifer Leann Young of Cumby, and great grandchildren, Jacob Hensley and Marshall Neal Cantrell.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 6 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. Funeral service will be at 3 P.M. on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Hope Community Church of the Nazarene, 3600 Kings Row, Denton with Rev. Bernie Burnside officiating. Burial will follow in the Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX.
