Doris Jane Biggs, born on September 16, 1925 to Mary Francis and Jessie Biggs in Goodlett, TX. lived a remarkable 99 years before passing away on January 10, 2025. A devoted mother to her three children—James Neal, Kara Dawn, and Dena Gay—she was known for her exceptional cooking skills and cherished family recipes.

While raising her kids in Krum, TX, she also worked at Denton's Fultz News and later owned the only laundromat in Lake Dallas, where her dedication earned her a loyal customer base. After her children grew up, she embraced her role as a grandmother to Hailey Dawn, Alexander Jacob, and Hannah Rose, choosing to retire from her business to focus on family. Despite facing the loss of all her children, Doris remained a resilient and loving figure, known for her kindness and willingness to help others.

She is deeply missed by her family and friends and is survived by her grandchildren.
