Donna Faye Peterson, 58, of Dallas, died Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Medical City Hospital in Denton.

Mrs. Peterson was born on October 27, 1963 at Jackson Parish Hospital, Jonesboro, LA to Lone and Ira Turner. She was a graduate from Shady Grove High School and Louisiana Tech University. She worked for FEMA for many years and was a member of Saint Mary Baptist Church in Louisiana.

Donna is survived by her husband, DeWayne Peterson of Denton; daughters, DeWana Parker and Dana Lopez whom are both of Denton, DeAnna Cook of Coppell, Danielle Gomez of Corinth and son, David Turner of Fort Worth; her brothers, Joey Turner of Houston and Anthony Turner of Saline, LA, also by her grandchildren, Calvin, Sofia, Jacobi, Malea, Memphis, Jesse, Aria and Olivia; by niece, La'Keitra Boston Davis, and nephews, Cornelius Boston and Courtland Turner.

Both the visitation and funeral service will be held at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral home at 705 N. Locust St. Denton, TX. The visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, July 1, 2022. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 2, 2022. The procession to the gravesite will follow at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Denton, TX.
