Donna Jean Dodson joined the angels and received her wings on March 19, 2009.

She was born April 25, 1941 and was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Wayne Dodson, and her mother, Dorothy Bolio.

She left behind three daughters, Debbie and Chuck Skiles, Deanna Dwyer, and Lisa and James Park; also her beloved Joanna, caretaker and friend, who took incredible care of her during the last several years.   Donna also left eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Donna, Mom, Grandma will most be remembered by her beautiful blue eyes, porcelain-like skin, love for shopping, and always being in your corner.  She had a tender heart and was never too sick to hear wonderful stories about her grandchildren and what they were doing.  We will love her and miss her until the end of time and know that when we arrive in heaven she will be waiting with our wings.

A private memorial service will be held March 28 at 2 pm at Primrose at Sequoia Park, 1400 E University Drive in Denton, Texas.
