Donna Mae Buttrill Davis

February 6, 1938 – June 13, 2024

Thursday morning, June 13, 2024, at the age of 86, Heaven called a special angel home. Donna, Mom, Nana passed peacefully at home in Krum Texas.

She was a loving mother to two sons that adored her, Brady and Dirk Davis, where she shared fantastic lessons and guidance of life.

Nana voiced her love for her two gifted angels, Alaina and Mallory Davis, her sweet grandchildren.

Born in Lytle Texas to Dee and Velma Buttrill, she was the flicker of love in her daddy's eyes. She had two sisters, Alvadee and Jerry, and a brother Randy.

On February 28, 1958, she married the love of her life, Billy Vern Davis. The two went through life hand in hand for 67 years.

Donna Mae never met a stranger. She impacted so many lives, as a Dallas Independent School teacher, and through meeting new friends on the road traveling in their RV after retirement.

Donna is survived by her husband Billy Davis, her children Brady and Dirk Davis, her grandchildren Alaina and Mallory Davis, her sisters Alvadee Fleming and Jerry Phelan, as well as many friends and extended family that will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Donna Mae Davis will be missed, thought of, and remembered forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
