Donna Marie Collins née Hamilton - February 29, 1952 - December 10, 2024

Donna was born in Los Banos, California on Leap Day February 29th, 1952 to Ora Ellen and James Melvin Hamilton. She passed peacefully in Denton, Texas surrounded by her family.

She was raised in Merced, CA and graduated from Atwater High School. After graduating with a dental assistant degree, she returned to university to earn her elementary education degree. She inspired countless students, but her favorite teaching experience was as a kindergarten teacher at the BEPS International School in Brussels, Belgium. She dearly loved her family, especially her grand babies.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart after 52 years of marriage, Christopher James Collins of Argyle, Texas and three kids Jasen (Teri) of Midwest City, OK, Jeffrey (Veronica) of Trophy Club, TX and Melissa (Matt) of Trophy Club, TX. And her beloved grandchildren; Nathan, Daniela, Vivian, Collin, Grayson and Brayden.

Arrangements made by Mulkey - Bowles Montgomery in Denton, Texas. Donna's final resting place will be at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

The family would like to thank our family and friends for the love and support. In accordance with Donna's wishes, no services will be held.
