Donald Eugene Payne, 65, of Hickory Creek, died Sunday, April 23, 2006 at Medical Center of Lewisville. He was born December 22, 1940 in Anna, Texas to George Harley and Beulah E. (Yancey) Payne. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Dallas, and was retired Cook for the Duck Inn Restaurant in Lake Dallas.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A. M. Thursday, April 27, 2006 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Bryan, officiating. Burial will follow in the Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 26, 2006.

Mr. Payne is survived by one Brother, James V. Payne of Hickory Creek, Nieces and Nephews.
