Donald E. Jones, beloved husband and father, passed away Wednesday May 19, 2010 at his home in Denton TX. Born March 8, 1925 in Lewistown, Montana, and was raised in Great Falls, Montana. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1943 while still a senior in high school and transferred to officer training at the University of Oklahoma where he received his degree in electrical engineering in 1948. Don was with Western Union for 25 years. He came to Denton in 1970 and started Colonial Coffee Service and Creative Landscaping. He is survived by his wife, Martha Bass Jones; his sons, Mark, and Lynn Jones in Mesquite, TX, Charles & Karen Jones of Sanger TX, Curtis Jones Denton TX, Robert Sims of Santa Clara, CA, Edward and Diana Sims of Gainesville, TX, and daughter, Carole Koster, and husband Paul of Bloomington, MN. He had ten granddaughter's; one grandson; four great granddaughters.
The family is very grateful to the Presbyterian Hospice nurse's for their care. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
