Donald Wayne Horn, 82, of Denton went home to be with our LORD on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at his home. He was born October 28, 1926 in Brownfield, TX to Bonnie (Dan) Wayne and Dollie Ladona (Nelson) Horn.  He married Vickie Sanders Martinez on January 24,1969 in Denton, she preceded him in death on January 17, 2003.  He was a retired Construction Superintendent for FJW Construction Company of Arlington, and was a member of the East Side Church of Christ of Denton.  He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Family & Friends Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, February 8, 2009 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and the Funeral Services will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:00pm at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N Locust St, Denton, TX, with Don Mitchell, officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Mr. Horn is survived by 2 sons, Doyle Horn of Lubbock, and Kenneth Horn of Sanger, 2 daughters, Pat Hickman of Bladdenboro, NC, and Deborah Landry of Sanger, 1 son deceased, Gilbert David Martinez, 2 sisters, Nadine Womack of Lubbock, and Bonnie Brumley of Texarkana, and 1 brother, George Horn of Gillespie, IL, with Eight Grandchildren, Twenty-Seven Great Grandchildren, and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
