Donald Lynn Freeman (Donny "by God" Freeman), 46, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Baylor University Medical Center of Dallas, due to complications of a liver transplant. He was born June 22, 1969, in Arlington, Texas, to Pamela Joyce Russell and Joe Charles Freeman.
He is survived by his wife, Samantha Freeman; his children, Courtney Whitley, Torre Roberts, Andrew Freeman, William Huckabee, and Randi Freeman Roberts; grandchildren, Kenyan Whitley, Donovan Whitley, and Aniyah Wiley; mother, Pamela Joyce Russell; father and step-mother, Joe Charles and Robin Freeman; siblings, Rick Freeman and wife, Paula Freeman, Michelle Jordan, Sonny and Penny Boetcher, and brother-in-law King and Misty Chancellor; nieces and nephews, Taylor Freeman, Bradley White, Tanner White, Jacob Boetcher, Cody Boetcher, Paige Chancellor, Casie Chancellor, Dalayna stanford, Reese Chancellor; and his grandmother, Mary Norman.
Donny worked as a drilling fluids engineer. He was full of life, and a loving husband, father, and papa.
Mulkey Mason of Denton is handling the cremation. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 19, at 4:00 p.m. at Gateway United Baptist Church, 2401 N. Bell Avenue, Denton, TX 76209.
