Docia Mae Malone Waller, 93, was born on September 9, 1923 in Haskell, Texas, and passed away on May 28, 2017 in Denton, Texas.
She is survived by son Maurice (Gene) Malone Jr. and wife Connie and daughter-in-law Charlotte Malone, two grandsons Matthew Malone, Morgan Malone and wife Emily, two great grandsons Preston and Camden Malone, and step-children Lori Strollo, Cori Neal and Rob Anderson.
She married Maurice Malone on April 17, 1943 and had two sons Maurice Malone Jr. and Clarence Edwin Malone. After the death of Maurice Malone in September 1984, she married John Charles Waller on October 1987 until his death in October of 1992.
She graduated in 1957 from TWU in Denton with a degree in Elementary Education and taught school in Arlington.
She lived most of her married life in Denton, Texas and was active in the local garden clubs, past member of Denton and Oakmont Country Clubs in Denton.
Graveside service will be Friday June 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas. Service under the direction of Denton Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Denton, Texas.
