Obituary
Dixie Gray McLeod, 91, of Denton, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born January 3, 1918 in Greene County, Missouri to Dallas and Thelma (Hendrix) Gray. She was a graduate of Willard High School in Willard, Missouri and Draughn's Business College. She was married to Lester T. (Jinks) McLeod on December 19, 1936 in Wewoka, Oklahoma, he died January 5, 2000. She was retired from the Denton County Auditor's office after seventeen years.
A private family service and burial in Chinns ChapelCemetery will be held. Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McLeod is survived by two daughters, Patsy Nicholas, of Denton, Wanda Garner, of Plano, a son Jimmy McLeod, of Denton, and a sister Roberta Schoenfeld, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Four Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren and Four Great Great Grandchildren.
