Dickey Dean Charles, 72, of Valley View, TX passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his home. He was born November 2, 1938 in Denton County, Texas to James F. and Theda Marie (Conway) Charles. He was married to Frances L. Cantrell on November 7, 1958 At Gribble Springs Baptist Church, she died December 13, 2001. He served in the U S Army. He was retired from the Denton Fire Department, and Denton County maintence.

Mr. Charles is survived by two daughters, Kay Lyn Capen of Brighton, CO Shelia Davis of Dover, AK two sons, Billy Charles of Sanger, and Michael Charles of Wymer, A brother James L. Charles of Bolivar, and Twelve Grandchildren.

A family gathering will be held today, February 8, 2011 from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the Sanger Church of Christ.
