Dianne Ellen Rodman, age 80, Denton, TX, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025. Born in Eagle Pass, TX to Daisy Leask and Thomas Leask. She was a dedicated military wife, mother and grandmother. She was an accomplished cake decorator, seamstress, competitive shot gun shooter, hunter and manager of creative chaos. She competed and placed in the Texas State Fair for her photography. She was a talented storyteller, creator of anything you could imagine, and was deeply loved by everyone in her family.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Rodney Eugene Rodman; her son Robynn (Dawn) Rodman of Navarre, Fl; her daughter Shannon (Jim) Ward of Greenville, TX; her sister Joan (Richard) Baker of Athens, TX; her sister Tracey (James) Tyler of Mesquite, TX; and her brother Kelly (Sandra) Leask of Lively, TX . She is also survived by her grandchildren Shayliegh Ward, Kaitlyn Ward, Raegan (Sam) Richard, and Reece Rodman and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church in Argyle, TX on Friday January 31, 2025, at 10:30 am. A Visitation service will precede the Mass from 9:30 to 10 am, Rosary Service will be from 10:00 to 10:30.
Burial to follow on February 4, 2025, at 11am at the Dallas- Fort Worth National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Dianne's memory to National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (nationalpcf.org).
