Dewey Gordon "Sandy" Sandlin, of Krum, died Friday March 7, 2008 at his home in Krum.

Sandy was born September 7, 1917 in Norfork, Arkansas to Oscar B. and Edna (Rogers) Sandlin. He was married to Marie Riley on February 17, 1958 in Durant, OK. He served in the United States Marines during WWII. He was a mechanic for Bell Helicopter for many years and a member of the Stanfield Masonic Lodge #217 and Elks Lodge in Denison.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday March 12, 2008 at Fairview Cemetery, Denison, TX. Rev. Carl Lane will officiate the service. A visitation will be held Tuesday March 11 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulkey-MasonFuneraHome, 705 N. Locust,   Denton.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Sandlin of Krum; stepson, James Edward Eubank and wife Patsy of Dallas; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
