Devan DeWayne Harris Jr.
February 15, 2000 - February 8, 2024
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, father, family member, Devan DeWayne Harris Jr. Those who knew Devan, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
Devan was born on February 15, 2000 in Amarillo, Texas to Devan DeWayne Harris and Jamie Pineda Harris.
Devan truly lived life to the fullest, nothing was off limits for him.
"All people die, but not all people live."
He was adventurous, goofy and a free spirit. He loved to play video games, dance, sing and make music, he was a true people person. Devan loved hard and would most certainly have your back.
Devan true love is his daughter, Kaylani Ivonne Harris. They loved to play basketball, sing, play at the park, dance, make TikToks together and stay up late eating snacks.
Devan will forever hold a place in the hearts of those that knew him and loved him.
"To know him, is to love him."
His favorite color was blue, he loved his curls, his tattoos and he loved to look good and to be pampered. He enjoyed making people laugh. Most importantly, Devan had a deep love for all his family and cherished the time spent together. He was a true friend to his friends.
Devan will be missed everyday by his father Devan, his mother Jamie, brothers Elijah and Malik, sisters Selena and Nivea, his daughter Kaylani, his grandparents Carl and Kathy Harris, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many great friends. We know Devan is now with his Grandparents, John and Maria Pineda and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven. We love and miss you so much.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
