There was one time where they both thought they were entitled to use it at the same time which resulted in a scuffle and getting the keys taken away. He had many cars and trucks during his life. His passion for cars came from his father and has been passed down from generation to generation to the Shaw sons and grandsons.

Tim was then hired at Ford Motor Company. Soon Ford Motor Company transferred him and his family to California. After a year he moved back to central Utah and began a job at L&M Trailer Company in Ephraim, Utah. Tim had bigger ambitions and purchased a motel in Manti which he owned for 5 years before moving north to Orem Utah where he decided to start an accounting firm.

After a few years in business and a divorce from his first wife, Tim moved to Texas to help start a business with acquaintance. That venture was short lived. Although, while in Texas Tim met Lillie Bishop and the love story began, they were married June 1986. This proved to be one of the best decisions he ever made. The families naturally blending with Tim's and Lillie's family of 4 boys and 2 girls. He nurtured those relationships with love and respect. Tim really enjoyed sitting around the table during and after dinner enjoying desert while talking and sharing stories. He also was notorious for one of his favorite past times, napping.

Before retiring in his early 70's, Tim's last business adventure was an accounting service called Shaw Business Services. He grew the business and did very well. Many of his clients became close friends. After retirement he had a hard time saying no to his long-term customers and always lent a hand when needed.

During his retirement Tim and Lillie enjoyed spending time at their cabin, camping in their travel trailer, long drives, and spending time with the family and grand kids. Tim was always well cared for by Lillie with her witty sense of humor and fantastic southern hospitality. Tim never went hungry.
