Derek Ray Carroll, 33, of Sanger, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at his home in Sanger.

Mr. Carroll was born on March 2, 1983 in Lewisville to Tony Wayde Carroll and Debbie Ann Brown. He was a member of the First Apostolic Jesus Name Church in Denton. He graduated Aubrey High School and was a heavy equipment operator.

Derek is survived by his daughters, Skylar Carroll of Krum, Elizabeth Carroll of Watauga; son, Noah Carroll of Watauga; sister, Heather Clearfield of Bartonville; mother, Debbie Ann Brown of Bartonville; father, Tony Carroll of Aubrey; grandparents; Ronald and Shirley Brown of Bartonville; brothers, T.J. Carroll of Ponder, Caleb Carroll of Little Elm; fiance, Ashley Vinson.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the church. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the First Apostolic Jesus Name Church, 2801 N. Bonnie Brae, Denton. Interment will follow at Old Shiloh Cemetery, Flower Mound.
