Deral Wakefield, 81 of Denton passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2015 at his home. He was born August 10, 1934 in Hall County, Texas to Ernest and Jewel (Hays) Wakefield. He was married to Dorothy Sims on April 10, 1960 in Amarillo, TX He was a self-employed Frame Contractor, and was a member of Singing Oaks Church of Christ. He served in the U S Army 101st Airborne Division. He is a member of the Masonic Lodge, Stanfield 217 in Denton.
Mr. Wakefield is survived by his wife Dorothy Wakefield, daughter Dee Wakefield and grandson Cash Wakefield all of Denton.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Denton from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday December 3, 2015 at the Singing Oaks Church of Christ with Bo West officiating.
