Dennis Harold Barber, 59, of Denton, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Denton Regional Medical Center.  He was born April 22, 1950 in Denton to Leroy and Lucy I. (Malone) Barber.  He was married to the late Debby Sidle in Denton on September 17, 1971.  He was a Carpenter and a member of the First Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Central Baptist Church,  2221  N. Carroll Blvd.  Denton,  with   Rev. Paul Shelton,  officiating. Mulkey-Mason,  Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Barber is survived by three daughters, Tiffani Locklear, of  Hoschton, GA  Tesa Bryan, of Duluth, GA, and Tami Pennington, of Richmond, KY  his Mother, Lucy Barber, a sister Joyce Brearley, and a brother Donald G/ Barber, all of Denton, and Seven Grandchildren.
