Obituary
Denise Irene Bolin, 53, of Lewisville, passed away Sunday morning, January 6, 2008 following a hard fought battle with cancer.
Denise was born July 13, 1954 in Limestone, Maine to Charles and Barbara Mitchell.
She married Tom Bolin September 1, 1973 at the First United Methodist Church in Lewisville.
Denise was very active in the community teaching kindergarten for 11 years with the Lewisville ISD.
She coached soccer, was actively involved with the PTA, Booster Club, L.F.A. secretary and a long term member of the First United Methodist Church in Lewisville.
Denise was preceded in death by her son, Emett, March 16, 2003.
She is survived by her husband, Tom of Lewisville, three sisters, Patty Hoeing of Elgin, Texas, Jeanny Palmer of Seguin, Texas and Judy Buford of Boerne, texas; four brothers, Joe Dorenzo of The Colony, Texas, Billy Mitchell of Bastrop, Texas, Chuck Mitchell of San Diego, California and Oscar W. Mitchell of Angleton, Texas.
The family will receive visitors from 6:30p.m. to 8:00p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, Lewisville.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Lewisville.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Charles Emett Bolin Memorial Scholarship, Lewisville ISD Education Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 643, Lewisville, Texas 75067.
