Deloris (Dee) Sharp, age 71, of Lewisville, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009, in Lewisville, Texas.

She was born June 7, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Hanley P. Bowman and Lillie Mae Crawford Bowman. Dee married Ronald Lee Sharp on May 9, 1955 in Liberty, Indiana. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2004.  Dee loved working with children and worked as a Special Education Teacher's Aide for Lewisville Independent School District at both College Street and Highland Village Elementary.  After retiring from the school district, she continued to work with children as a Special Education Aide on a school bus.

She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Fulton and husband, Joe of Highland Village; son, Jim Sharp and wife Kim of Flower Mound; four grandchildren, Tyler Fulton, Bo Fulton, Caden Sharp and Mackenzie Sharp; sister, Louise Samosky of Springfield, Ohio and brother, Louie Bowman of Columbus, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
