DENTON – Graveside services for Delores Forester will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Old Alton Cemetery in Denton, Texas. Her grandson, Rev. Mitch Forester, will be officiating. Delores, 89, passed away at her Gordonville, Texas home on Thursday, August 21, 2014. The family wishes to extend their heart-felt gratitude to Home Hospice (Grayson County) for their support in her final days. Services are entrusted to and under the direction of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Denton, Texas.

Delores was born on May 11, 1925 in Denton County to the late Frank and Jessie Schoolcraft. She married Albert M. "Smokey" Forester on October 15, 1940 and was blessed with three children. Delores, "Mugs", as some knew her, lived a long and happy life and will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Albert M. "Smokey" Forester; her daughter, Barbara Ann Carter; and her granddaughter, Toni Denise McCain. Left to cherish Delores' memory are her two children – Mary Lynn McCain of Gordonville, Texas and Dennis Mitchell Forester of Italy, Texas; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
