Della Virginia Patterson, 84, of Denton, died Thursday August 21, 2008 at Denton Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Patterson was born on June 24, 1924 in Gilliland, TX to Joseph Clyde and Dora Elizabeth (Martin) Winborne. She was married to Neeley Robert Patterson on November 26, 1937 in Lubbock. She was a member of the Amazing Love Ministry.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday August 25, 2008 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Beal will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Little Elm Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday August 24 at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughters, Joy Campbell of Plano, TX, Ruby Queen of Lake Dallas, TX, Betty Jo Kelley of Grangerland, TX; son, Robert Patterson of Denton, TX; sisters, Beth Bates of Iowa Park, TX, June Ruthardt of White Deer, TX, Irma Reeves of Gordonville, Phyllis Botsford of Borger, TX, Nevella Harris of Little Rock, AR; brothers, Jack Grant of Newalla, OK, Bob Winborne, of Sherman, TX, Chuck Winborne of Lima, OH, Johnny Winborne of Pampa, TX, H.M. Harris of Lubbock; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neeley Robert Patterson; daughters, Sybil Shepard, Linda Beth Morgan, Virginia Ann DeMintt; grandchildren, Duane Shepard, Mark Wiggin, Teresa Bell; great grandson, Tanner James Patterson.
