Debra Lenel Scott was born on May 4, 1963, in Denton County, Texas to Nelva J. Scott and William L. Scott.  She passed away after a long illness on October 1, 2017.
She attended North Texas State University and was a member of Delta Phi Zeta sorority.  During college, Debra married Luke Pinegar and they moved to Panama City Beach, Florida.
Debra was the beloved mother of Lawson Reed Pinegar and Preston Scott Pinegar.  Debra was a member of Paws and Claws, an animal rescue organization in Panama City, where she fostered and cared for homeless animals.
Debra was survived by her ex-husband, Luke Pinegar; sons, Lawson Reed Pinegar and Preston Scott Pinegar; father, William (Bill) Scott and his wife Lisa Scott; mother, Nelva J. Scott, brothers, William (Tim) Scott and David Scott; sister, Becky Scott Sylvera; step-sister, Tori Akers, sister-in-law, Kippie Scott; brother-in-law, Marc "Mighty" Sylvera; as well as, seven nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews.
Debra will be forever lovingly remembered in our hearts.
A private family memorial will be held on Friday, October 13, at her sister's home.
