Debra Sue Moores,  54, of Denton, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Denton Regional Medical Center.  She was born January 26, 1955 in Brownsville, Texas  to George E. and Viola B. (Sweatman) Davis.  She was married to Joseph Moores on June 2, 1972 in Denton.  Sue was a Homemaker.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Thursday May 21 2009 at the McKinney Street Baptist Church 3000 E. McKinney, Denton, with Rev. Bill Black, officiating.  Burial will follow in the DFW National Cemetery.  The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. for visitation.

Mrs. Moores is survived by her husband, Joseph Moores, of Denton, two daughters, Veronica Jean Davis Quick, of Plano, TX and Pauline Gass, of Denton, a Son Joseph Carl Moores, of Denton, TX  twenty Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild.  She was preceded in death by a son Robert Moores.
