Debra Lynn Holst, age 60, of Dallas, TX passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at Madison on Marsh Nursing Home in Carrollton, TX.  She was born on May 7, 1957 in Rock Springs, WY to Roger Duane and Myrtle Alma (Rose) Holst.  She worked as a bilingual kindergarten teacher for the Carrollton/Farmers Branch ISD until she retired. She is survived by her siblings: Diana Reaves and husband Bernard (Jack) of Aubrey, Duane Holst of Midland, and Dawne Adamson of Rocklin, CA.  She is also survived by nephews: Troy Reaves of Flower Mound and Michael Gratzinger of Bluffdale, UT and nieces: Denise Chambers of Denton and Michelle Ross of Washington, DC.  Debra was preceded in death by her parents and nephews: B.J. Reaves III and Byron Eric Reaves.

A viewing and memorial will be at 10:00 AM followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel at 6545 W. Plano Parkway in Plano, TX on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 to celebrate her life.  There will be a grave site ceremony in June, 2017 at the Rose Cemetery in South Dakota.
