Dean Howard French, 76, of Denton, died Wednesday, June 29, 2022 surrounded by his family at his home in Denton.

Mr. French was born on July 29, 1945 in Oakland, CA to Frank Howard and Barbara Jean (Haruff) French. He was married to Donna Jean Graham on April 11, 1970 in San Jose, CA. He taught for over 35 years for the Greenfield USD in California, teaching from Kindergarten through eighth grade and physical education. He was a volunteer fireman; co-owned the Community Theater, Down Home Players ; was a Boy Scout leader; enjoyed crafts and anything outdoors including backpacking, fishing, orienteering. and geo-caching.

Dean is survived by his wife, Donna French of Denton; daughter, Colleen Cook of Justin; grandchildren, Carter Robbins and Carley Cook and goddaughter Brenna Cumming. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Kerrigan.

A celebration of life will be held July 17th at 3pm at Robson Ranch clubhouse and in California in early September.
